John Tackley on taking up the position of Appeal Fund Chairman, said “This vessel is a unique opportunity for Northwich. Built in 1948, its heritage celebrates Yarwood’s Shipbuilding, ICI and the Weaver Navigation. Our vision is a floating museum that can not only travel the Weaver but further afield to Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester promoting our town and its heritage”. |
